Nino Enukidze: Exceeding the third quarter of the privatization plan and nine months of the budget is the result of the active work of the National Agency of State Property and the business

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Nino Enukidze, stated that the plan of privatization of state property for the third quarter was fulfilled by 216%. Accordingly, as a result of active privatization process, the National Agency of State Property transferred over 82 million GEL to the State Budget instead of the 38 million GEL provided for in the plan for the third quarter of this year. As the Deputy Minister highlighted, 337 e-auctions were announced during the reporting period and most of them were successfully completed.

"It should also be noted that the privatization plan for all three quarters was fulfilled excessively, as a result, instead of 110 000 000 GEL provided for in the 9-month plan, more than 180 000 000 GEL was mobilized in the central budget," – Nino Enukidze noted.

Enukidze added that the business was very actively involved in the process of privatization of the state property, therefore, the active work of the National Agency of State Property as well as of the private sector resulted in exceeding the budget for nine months.

"We will continue to work intensively with business and we will try to have exceptional results by the end of the year," – the Deputy Minister said.
